Location:
Camas, WA or Hybrid

Company Overview
Synkwise is one of the fastest-growing eMAR platforms in the country, trusted by thousands of long-term care facilities nationwide. We’ve scaled rapidly by solving real frontline problems, such as medication safety, workflow efficiency, and regulatory compliance for underserved communities that legacy systems overlook and modern systems overcharge.

If you’ve worked with HL7, FHIR, pharmacy systems, medication workflows, and compliance-driven environments, and you’re excited about building scalable, future-proof integration architecture at a company experiencing meaningful real-world adoption, then this role was built for you.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Integrations Engineer who lives at the intersection of healthcare interoperability, workflow design, and modern software engineering. This role is mission-critical. You’ll own complex integrations that power real-world care delivery, connecting EHRs, eMARs, pharmacies, labs, devices, and third-party systems while helping define how automation and AI reshape healthcare operations.

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. This role involves developing and executing effective marketing strategies to generate leads, engage customers, and enhance our brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the SaaS market in the residential long-term care sector and possess a blend of strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

What You’ll Do

+ Backend & Integrations

  • Design, build, and maintain HL7 v2.x, FHIR (R4+), and REST-based integrations across EHR, eMAR, pharmacy, and third-party healthcare systems
  • Own end-to-end integration workflows including medication orders, MAR, ADT, demographics, vitals, pharmacy fulfillment, audit trails, and compliance events
  • Implement event-driven architectures using webhooks, message queues, and background processing
  • Troubleshoot complex data-flow, mapping, and interoperability issues across external vendors and internal systems
  • Lead integration architecture decisions with emphasis on security, performance, reliability, and auditability

+ Frontend & Product Experience

  • Build and enhance modern, responsive frontend interfaces used daily by caregivers and clinical staff
  • Translate complex clinical and integration data into clear, intuitive UI workflows that reduce error and cognitive load
  • Collaborate closely with Product Design to implement polished UX using component-driven architecture
  • Develop frontend features across dashboards, medication administration workflows, task management, alerts, and documentation tools
  • Ensure frontend experiences remain performant, accessible, and mobile-friendly in real-world care environments

+ Full-Stack Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product, Nursing, Compliance, and Engineering to translate clinical requirements into end-to-end technical solutions
  • Contribute to AI-enabled workflows including automation triggers, validation logic, anomaly detection, and intelligent routing
  • Build and maintain shared schemas, APIs, contracts, and documentation across frontend and backend systems

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep specialization in healthcare integrations
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • HL7 v2.x (ORM, ORU, ADT, RXA, etc.)
  • FHIR resources, profiles, and APIs
  • EHR / eMAR platforms (senior living, assisted living, LTC strongly preferred)
  • Experience integrating with pharmacy systems, medication management, or medication administration workflows
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA, healthcare compliance, and data security best practices
  • Familiarity with modern development stacks (React, Angular, Node, .NET, etc.)
  • Experience with REST APIs, message queues, background workers, and distributed systems
  • Strong debugging instincts with the ability to trace issues across systems you don’t fully control
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving SaaS environments where product and compliance evolve together

Bonus Points

  • Experience in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Home Care platforms
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, rule engines, or automation frameworks
  • Experience with pharmacy vendors, lab systems, or health device integrations
  • Prior ownership of large-scale or multi-tenant healthcare integrations

Why This Role Matters

You’re not just wiring systems together; you’re shaping how care teams operate, how medication errors are prevented, and how compliance is enforced at scale. This role has real-world impact on caregivers, residents, and families every single day.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • A role in a forward-thinking company with a mission to improve long-term care.
  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative, and supportive environment.
  • Professional growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding sector.
